"Heaven is Real!" declares Ron Pettey, a man whose amazing encounter with destiny and the supernatural realm occurred during emergency brain surgery in 1982. Since his near death experience that day and subsequent difficult recovery, Ron and his wife, Glenda, devote themselves to a ministry of sharing Ron's glorious encounter with heaven and praying for the miraculous healing for those who hurt through the power of Jesus Christ.

Ron and Glenda Pettey, both raised in conservative Southern Baptist homes, met in the early 1970’s. Their idyllic courtship, wedding and early years of marriage took a challenging turn when Ron's severe headaches sent him to the doctor for what turned out to be life-threatening brain swelling, a condition called hydrocephalus. During one of many brain surgeries, Ron's spirit left his body and made an unexpected voyage to the very gates of heaven itself!

Armed with keen memories of these incredible experiences, Ron, together with Glenda and their four children, weathered a plethora of long-term heath challenges. For a full decade, Ron endured constant, debilitating headaches, as well as a severely impaired natural memory, until the day he was miraculously healed! Local newspaper articles and TV interviews soon followed, gaining the attention of the 700 Club. In 2008, Sid Roth invited The Petteys for a series of radio and TV interviews on a program called “It’s Supernatural.”

Today, with their children grown, Ron and Glenda tirelessly dedicate their time to sharing Ron’s captivating story and the good news of God’s grace and love with anyone willing to listen. Invited to speak to home groups, churches, college classes and now on radio and television, Ron and Glenda's message is simple, yet compelling: Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
