An amazing thing happened to me on July 4th, 2008, at the Lake Hamilton Bible Summer Camp in Hot Springs Arkansas. After Ron and Glenda Pettey shared their inspiring story, I felt compelled to come forward and receive prayer for my sore, painful joints.
Deep inside, I also felt a keen desire for help with a much different problem; my inability to think and speak. In the past, no matter how I tried, I couldn’t put my thoughts into words very well. For some reason though, I mentioned only my aching joints.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 states: “…Write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
God called me out of a business career into the field of education during my mid-thirties. I never wanted to teach. I had planned on becoming a business executive. It was then that God showed me He had a different path for life. He opened miraculous doors for me to teach at a high school in the city where I had lived for fifteen years.

Their son, Steven, has recently become a truck driver for Central Freight and his route took him to Brooklyn, NY on Friday. He had been given wrong directions for his delivery and suddenly found himself trapped in traffic, at night, flanked on all sides with honking cars and a bridge in front of him with a clearance too low for him to drive under. People from all sides began shouting obscenities in their various languages.
